Are You Awaiting Test Results?

If you are awaiting test results for a recent blood test or imaging procedure ordered by the GP please ensure you contact the surgery to follow up with us.

Individual hospitals/clinics, and procedures, will have different wait times for the results to be processed.  Once the test/imaging results have been processed they will be sent to the surgery for the GP to review.

An approximate timeframe for results to be received at the surgery is as follows:

• Routine Blood Test - 2 weeks
• X-ray - 2-4 weeks
• Scan - 2-4 weeks
• Endoscopy - 8-16 weeks

Please note results of tests ordered by consultants do not routinely come back to the surgery.

To request your results, please allow a minimum of 14 days after completing the test, and then contact the surgery using the form below to follow up.

Once your request has been received the Doctor or Nurse will check if all results have been received, and reviewed, and when all results are ready they will then contact you by phone call or text message to relay the results.
